Conclusion
The Vikings were farmers, traders and pirates that raided, invaded and settled in Britain and other countries. They sailed out into the north Atlantic Ocean and south to the Mediterranean Sea. They sailed to the Faeroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland. They raided from 793 AD to sometime around 1000 AD.
They originated from Denmark, Sweden and Norway (Scandinavia).
The Vikings are well known for raiding and conquering towns. They were supposedly barbaric and uncivilized pirates that would kill without thought.
I believe that while the Vikings were raiders and pirates they may not have been as barbaric as we imagine them to be. Only 3% of the land where they lived was suitable for farming. With a growing population the Vikings would need fertile land or supplies to keep their families alive. This could have been one of the reasons they started raiding, and then grown into a way to increase their wealth. Scaring the people they were stealing from would have been a great strategy because the people would have become so afraid that they would surrender or flee.

I believe that the theories about the Viking longships are true because the boats have been found in burial mounds and underwater. As well as this all of the experts have mainly come up with the same information about how the ships were build and their design.
The information about the women's role I believe to be true because all of the information agrees with one another. I am not completely sure what a Viking house used to look like. I have read an article that claims there may have been some mistakes when they were first reconstructing a Viking house.
I believe that the Vikings may have believed in their gods, but I don't believe that the gods were actually real. There are sagas and other artifacts that have had stories and pictures of the gods on them.
The Viking alphabet (runes)I believe to genuine because there are sagas and other writings that were found written in this language. I cant be certain that it has been interpreted 100% correctly but it makes sense and sounds correct.
